Michael’s career in motorcycling began in 1966, along the way and 41 year later, Michael has amassed more than one million miles on motorcycles. Farabaugh’s resume includes 40 years with the AMA swerving in various capacities including a position on the Board of Trustees, 24 years an an MSF Chief Instructor with 89 Instructor Prep classes and thousands of successful course graduates under his tutelage. In addition, countless years with ABATE from janitor work to the executive director of ABATE of Indiana. Balls was the founder of the MRF and hosted a one hour live radio show for 4 1/2 years. Michael has been a photographer for 40 years shooting for 10 national magazines. A book of Michael’s photography and traveling adventures across America shooting from the seat of two wheels is now in process.
Michael has spearheaded a remarkable success record by networking friends and contacts in the motorcycle world to work for sick kids. More than 4 million dollars have been distributed to Riley Hospital, MDA, and the Paraplegic Foundation through massive team efforts.
Farabaugh testified in the motorcycle rights arena by lobbying in Washington, D.C. and l3 other states throughout the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s providing a foundation for the passion to keep passing on those life experiences to anyone who will listen.
